Oxfam
Trailwalker 2015 brought a team of 4
together after a bit of struggle.
We did the
sign up and initial contribution and nothing else!
As usual,
work, life, took over and this was forgotten.
Confusion reigned,
rejig happened, team composition changed.
Yet, no
training, no fund raising!
2 months went
by and awareness crept in!
There was
training and fund raising pending!
And one less
walker! So it’s back to another team formation! And finalization!
With that we
were just 4 weeks away from the event and less than 2 weeks away from close of
the minimum fund raising target –panic set in.
But the IT
industry trains us well to cope with this mode!
Mailers sent
out, friends were approached, colleagues contacted and voila!
The fastest
fund raising ever done!!
In less than
48 hours we had gone from a mere Rs.4,500/ - to Rs.53,000/-!!
The generosity
and support of our colleagues amazed us!
They believed!!
We thank our
friends and colleagues who gave 4aCause
And so now in
earnestness we prepare!
We will not
let them down!
We will walk
to support Oxfam’s cause.
We will walk
4aCause!
