Good Night Moon

Definitely does not classify as a comedy.
A tear jerker!
Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, two of the most accomplished actors get together to play opposing roles in a movie which makes you sniff and wipe regularly!

I would never have watched this movie on my own volition.
On some channel on Saturday night, during random TV surfing, my daughter narrowed down on this movie.
I was confused.
Should I let her watch this one or force her to change channels….

After watching for  a few minutes, I felt she was “grown up” enough to watch it.
So she did.

The fear is real!
Of losing out and not gaining.

Both parties suffer the mental trauma of holding on.
The children are confused and go through their own interpretations of the ugly war.

I relate to some of the dialogues, maybe it is the case of the “left out mother”
Life is unfair!
You do all the work and one fine day a new woman is vying for your kids attention and may just get it….
because you are so busy running errands, cooking, washing, cleaning, helping with their studies, fighting their inner battles with them, nursing them when sick, being strict to ensure they do not wander away, helping them cope with the bad world…

Maybe, just maybe ,am doing the right thing?????
